In case you missed this, Gracey Van Der Mark, the Huntington Beach city council member and Republican candidate for state assembly, district 72 recently posted a bunch of photographs alongside Brandon Gill.
And if you’re thinking—“Brandon Gill—the dude who sang “Rub You the Right Way!”
No, that’s Johnny Gill.
And if you’re thinking, “Brandon Gill—former Charlotte Hornets guard!”
No, that was Kendall Gill.
Brandon Gill is the 32-year-old MAGA congressman from Texas best known for his boyish looks, his Dartmouth diploma and his calls for a prohibition on Muslim immigration.
Put different: Gill is a bad guy. A profoundly bad guy. A uniquely bad guy. A white Christian Nationalist who backs mass deportations, proudly Tweeted, “It’s still not illegal to be white” and responded to a video clip of Zohran Mamdani eating with his hands by writing, "Civilized people in America don't eat like this. If you refuse to adopt Western customs, go back to the Third World.”
And … Gracey knows this. Loves this. Because, despite being both Latina and the daughter of first-generation Americans, she’s a (again, weirdly) vile racist who has somehow been brainwashed into seeing a white reflection gazing back in the mirror. She lacks empathy, sympathy, decency, kindness, and views the MAGA cruelty spewed by shrubs like Gill as distinctly American.
