As usual Jeff, you're spot on. It's taken me a long time, too long, to realize it's a waste of time to reason with these dopes. They are in a cult and sadly not very bright either. tRump lies virtually every time he opens his pie hole but there is one truthful statement that he uttered, that being " I could shoot someone in the middle of 5th Avenue and my supporters wouldn't care". Truer words have never been said.
It is head scratching and baffling that he continues to have followers. In June he announced that our bombing Iran obliterated their nuclear capabilities. Saturday he announced that they were capable of imminent stikes on the USA. Come on. I read the piece in today's NYT of six of his followers interviewed in Texas about their reaction to the war with Iran. Five (5) of six (6) support him. WTF kind of thinking is that? Depressing. OTOH, an encouraging sign--a candidate for the newly redistricted 41st Congressional seat knocked on my door and talked. Walking precincts! Yeah for that spirit. I donated to him and offered support for Hector de la Torre as superbly qualified.
Thanks Jeff for making me aware of the meaning of TDS. Trump's supporters are blinded by the need to follow a leader and somehow think they can belong to his "congregation." But it's never going to happen, they don't belong and he really doesn't care about them.
