Wow! That was exactly as described. And no other board member objected which is a reprehensible. What was the discussion about? A book?

Hilarious! At least you admit that you have no idea what was happening. Yes, the person in question was quoting from a text. End of story.

Nice try spinning the truth, but anyone without TDS can see through your lie.

Judy fiercely supported and described the man as “smart, compassionate, and real.”

The use of the expletive was for literary emphasis only. She used it to describe the tone of the story and the horrific scene. Judy spoke against the crude implication and defended him 💯. Her use of “the word” was anything but derogatory. Rather, she defended and praised his character!

Your spin of the truth is an obvious political tactic, skewed with TDS blindness. Your attempted attack is a weak argument and it's an insult to our intelligence. I’m confident that Judy’s proven track record in the community will outshine your dark attempt to defraud her character.

Taken out of context from a very biased person. That is why the recording was just a snippet!!

Well said. I agree , however the word is written over 200 times in the book James. Having said that I watched , then listened and her overall point was to emphasize how much she liked the book and was approving it. She apologized and these stories are misplaced and more harmful to race relations in general. Let’s move on.

She was quoting the text which being discussed. She should have at least used 'air quotes' while speaking...

Mr. Pearlman, what financial interest do you have in this affair? "The Truth OC" ? hilarious

Except she was not quoting the text. Not sure if you're attempting to gaslight people here or what, but you're wrong. The incident was discussed extensively here:

https://www.reddit.com/r/orangecounty/comments/1jatje1/capo_board_member_says_nword_in_meeting/

And in the comments, you can see that the phrase she used does not appear in the book being discussed.

You can't be so naive that you don't understand what was actually happening during the meeting. The person in question was quoting a text. Full stop.

Of course she did because she works hard to rid the schools of the leftist wholeness. That criticism would never been raised if a black person had said or used it!

I'm Black. I have lived in Orange County for more than 30 years. It doesn't matter the race of the elected official - NO ONE should be using a racist slur during a public meeting.
