The 1950s seems like a golden era to them. In some ways if was. The New Deal progressivism of the previous era brought us social security, medicare, the GI bill, a boom in home ownership, cheap/free education, and relatively high taxes on the wealthiest people. This build the middle class in America. On the other hand we had lynching, Jim Crow, redlining, and legal segragation. So it was good in some ways, and horrific in others. It was not some unbeatable golden age.
Another pillar of facism is racial and culture grievance, which is just self explanatory here.
These people are just using the tools of classic propoganda ans super charging it through social media.
Liberal women who complain about dangerous men signing petitions to release criminals on society, then hold the same men she complained about responsible for the resulting mess.
