Young Kim's first flyers that started coming out a few weeks ago made the claim that she worked to get Americans affordable health care access. The flyer named the bill in teeny writing at the bottom for reference. I looked it up. It turns out she and a couple others wrote a bill that was going to extend credits put in place during covid. Yeah, it stalled in the Senate in Dec 2025 and hasn't been brought up since. Then she voted for the OBBB Act. I called her DC office to ask why she was saying what she is on the flyer when she knows that bill hadn't gone anywhere AND she voted for the reduction of healthcare access when she supported the OBBB Act. The answer? "We don't currently have a response to this issue." 🙄
It's not just our right, but our duty to participate in democracy!
I don't have any political aspirations but I volunteer my time for candidates that want to restore truth to power and represent working people. I hope this inspires more people to come to city council meetings, get involved with local campaigns, hold elected representatives accountable, and enact the change they want to see in government. I'll be there to support you.
