We are at a time in America where there is literally no story involving our president that would be considered too absurd to be considered possibly true. You could tell me that a UFO landed outside the White House during trump's first administration and he had sex in the Oval Office with a being from another planet. That sounds ridiculous and there is a 99.99999% percent that did not happen, but there is still that sliver of doubt that resonates. "You know, maybe that really DID happen." That wouldn't be the craziest thing ever, right?"
And that is where we are as a nation; We can convince ourselves that maybe trump had sex with an alien in the White House... just because.
