PPPS: third from right in bottom photo is Barke’s fellow OCBE board member Lisa Sparks, who was re-elected in June (Barke drew no opponent and will continue on the board).
She stands for "family values"? What the hell does that mean exactly? Families as portrayed in "Leave it to Beaver" or "Father Knows Best"? As in all white patriarchy, protestant, presumably Republican? Don't black and brown kids have loving families, even if (gasp) they don't speak English at home? And what about trans kids? Don't they have families who love them?
And what the hell was the deal with the pro-Judy post? Judy is the real choice of teachers, not the teachers' union? Geez Louise, does Linda Shepard speak to any teachers or even know any teachers? Hey Linda, WHY do you think most teachers belong to the union - is part of it the hostility they get from right wing extremists? I wonder if Linda is hostile to the police union or firefighters' union. Probably not. The sheer hypocrisy drives me crazy - we're ok with police officers and firefighters right for collective bargaining, but how dare teachers unionize! While we're at it, let's blame teachers for just about every one of society's ills!

The long game for Lisa is IMO getting rid of Dr. Brown (Capo’s superintendent). For all her faults, Trustee Bullockus raves and defends Dr. Brown.
