Great playlist for getting in good mood. As a 76 y/o white gramma, my love for Tribe called Quest goes way back. I don't remember hearing my daughter playing them but one evening while making dinner I come out with: "I'm on a world tour with Mohammond, my man, going each and every place with a mic in my hand..." Now, my grandchildren surprise me by knowing lyrics to some oldies on my playlist. When my 6 y/o was on tricycle in backyard, he busted out with: "There's something happening here; what it is ain't exactly clear. There's a man with a gun over there telling me you gotta beware..." I died. Who know he's absorbed the whole song? Kids born in 2020 singing Fleetwood Mac, Los Lobos, Jackson Brown and, of course, old R&B like Al Green. A hoot.

Speaking my love language. ATCQ nailed it with that song. I’ll add RATM Sleep Now in the Fire (and about a dozen more.) Plus Love it if We Made It - The 1975.

Oh, f&$k your feelings, truth is only hearsay, we’re just left to decay, modernity has failed us…’

Love this!! I used it to create an “Activist Playlist” for our Community of Hope OC activist group’s next happy hour. I added this amazing resistance artist to the list. Highly recommend her music and her Finishing School for Difficult Women. https://linktr.ee/iambossi?utm_source=linktree_profile_share&ltsid=addc8de9-df10-4049-9ef7-4eb42fc323a9
