Bust the Move is a good jam, but I loved "I Come Off," with the immortal lyric, ""I'm coming off like the clothes on a hooker. I can fly like Jimmy Superfly Snuka." - Go Young MC...we support you!
A bunch of the acts that were supposed to play this Freedom 250 fiasco were on an "I Love the 90s" tour that played in Irvine in March. Young MC was the opener and Vanilla Ice was the closer. It also featured Milii Vanilli, Color Me Bad, Tone Loc, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and some others I am forgetting.
Vanilla ICE actually had some OC MAGA groupies who looked exactly how you think they would look--perimenopausal with sad mixture plastic surgery, hair extensions, and too little clothing.
It strikes me as strange that our president quotation makes in describing our "HOT". Literally nobody in this world aside from this narcissist is calling us the "HOTTEST" thing since ever. He might wanna tone down the hypobole just a tad.
I do not believe any of these artists were fooled by anything other than cash. They know who is currently running this country into the ground. *NOTHING* in DC is bipartisan these days. They were announced as the artists on Weds, their fans lit the fuse to destruction under them and they decided to suddenly have an epiphany about what's going on during this event? Huh uh. I don't buy it. Call me cynical but I 100% do not believe them when they said they had no idea.
I tend to be cynical as well, but it doesn't explain why Young MC decided to back out. I doubt he had hordes of fans who were complaining. Sounds like the artists were led to believe this was an American celebration, not a Trump celebration. That seems likely. I guess there is also a part of me that wants to believe the best about people.
Way to go, Young MC! Our president is such an asshole.
Done. 👍 Plus we just had a dance party on our deck, busting a move. 💃🕺
PS - I didn't know Siri could sing back-up! She's Loose!
