I am not a conspiracist either, but it is hard to see what happened in Butler two nears ago and think it was legit. Seriously, a bullet grazed a man's ear. It managed NOT to cause serious injury by missing the head by mere fractions of an inch. There is no visible scars on his ear, nor does he possess any PTSD. Hell, he barely mentions the shooting. Where's the investigation? Where's the Zapruder-type film? Where's Oliver Stone?

I would think that brush with death would be the genesis for major gun reform, but it hasn't, so excuse me if I am a bit cynical about the shooting in 2024 and provides doubt about the legitimacy of this latest--while probably not the last--assassination attempt.

Reaping what he has sowed. The world will cheer his eventual dementia demise.

Never believed in any conspiracy theory, but I'm certain that Trump didn't actually win the 2024 election.

We were at a surprise Birthday party last night dancing & someone whispered in my ear the breaking news another failed assassination attempt! Everything related to him seems staged for sympathy, ratings & deflection of how he’s a human wrecking ball. Teflon Don got away unscathed again. How will it get spinned. We need to stay focused on what matters!!

Cole Thomas Allen's name was searched repeatedly by folks in Israel 12 before the shooting took place.

That is all. I'm leaving that for anyone to ponder.

Sorry to say that I can believe this was an attempt to breach security with no good intent. Stopped long before he got to the floor where the event was held. That said, Butler is a whole different story. It made no sense that a shooter was up on that roof, that he hailed from a MAGA family and there was NO investigation. The behavior of the Secret Service and President did not conform to protocol in a real shooting. I can't shake the feeling it was all staged with some young man executed for the cause--not to mention the innocent bystander. No. That story does not hold to logic. What a sorry state of affairs that this lying package spewing lies is a president who can't be believed. But here we are. Using it as excuse to build his bunker ballroom? After we fortify schools, thank you. And, how would a bunker have helped at the Hilton. Give me a break.

I can understand why some people would conclude it was staged. Just hours earlier, the press secretary had talked about “shots being fired,” and then, in the follow-up press conference, President Felon pivoted to his “ballroom” justification. Conspiracy theories have been built on far less.

That said, this one feels more like a short-lived distraction than anything substantive, another attempt to redirect attention away from Operation Epstein Fury. And frankly, even a temporary shift in focus is probably a welcome reprieve for President Felon.

Jeff, assassination is a horrific act that should be condemned by everyone—no exceptions. But I’ll be honest, I find myself arriving at a similar place as you.

I’ve never been one to buy into conspiracy theories. That said, I can’t take much of what Donald Trump says at face value or much that’s closely tied to him. When each statement seems to contradict the last, “credibility” stops being a gray area and starts to feel like a punchline.

What’s remarkable is that he’s managed to erode trust not just here at home, but across much of the free world. That takes a special leader… just not the kind we want.

As for the whole WHCD/Butler episode—staged? Maybe, maybe not. But the idea that someone, in what’s supposed to be a life-threatening moment, has the composure for a perfectly timed fist pump? That’s either superhuman instinct… or theater on par with Bozo the Clown or Howdy Doody.

At this rate, those two might actually rank higher on trust alone.

Which raises the real question: does his approval rating need to drop into the single digits before he walks away—or is that just wishful thinking?

It's all part of Bannon's "Flood the zone with shit" strategy. When we no longer believe anything, they can say whatever they want to justify any actions taken ... and the people -- dazed and confused -- just go on with their day.
