This column gives me hope.

Chad, like his brethren is in a cult. He has surrendered his own values and now worships this false prophet. It’s really that simple and the only way any of this behavior we’re seeing makes sense.

Thank you for articulating exactly what has puzzled so many of us non-MAGA types. How in the heck do men and women who are intelligent and hard working and even faithful followers of their religion--how do these people fall for the con of the Don? What is it about him that makes them deny facts, bully others who are different, and support the person who a majority of the world sees at a destructive force?

So eloquently written. How can Chad Williams throw away his Christian beliefs to join the cult of the world's biggest conman. What's also really frightening is that this hardcore MAGA leader is ready, not will be ready, but is ready, to take up arms against his Christian friends and any other neighbor in the name of the Church of Trump. https://medium.com/@aletheisthenes/on-april-20th-2025-the-united-states-will-cross-the-point-of-no-return-0aecac04cfc3

I’d really like to know what Chad does to make a living in HB. Does being a youth pastor pay that well (BTW that whole idea makes me uncomfortable). I can’t believe his speaking engagements are all that lucrative. So, what?

WELL, Chad Williams cites no record employers. Ever. Just works for himself. But has TONS of court cases (probably just traffic)

Great column - and fair - unlike the MAGA crowd and their relationships with non-cultists. Maybe Chad Williams will read your work and reflect on how far he's moved away from the guy who was once willing to die for liberty and justice for all. Why not interview him?
