Yes, agree. He is just attacking left-wing antisemitism without acknowledging right-wing antisemitism. He just wants to control universities to tamp down on student protests in general and scare academics. MAGA at its core is an anti-intellectual movement.

So the crackdown on protesting, on free speech, on academic freedom — it being done to keep Jews safe because “the shadowy cabal in the back that runs the world” told him to. Which lead to more antisemitism.
I agree and I think this, like so many other things, is being fed to him by the bad people he has around him. I don't think he gives a hoot in hell about anything but his own interests. When he has people around him who have set an agenda and are pursuing it through his actions, he has more time to worry about himself.

Many of the universities last year rightly already took disciplinary actions against antisemitism on campus (but I don't know if all did). In any case, even if some action still needed to be taken, nobody in their right mind would think that defunding universities and snatching students off the streets without any evidence would be the right way to do that.
Absolutely not! Eliminating funding for our colleges and universities to quell protesters is NOT an even punishment. Has Jeff said, it is about asserting his power and suppressing our voice. We still have the right to assembly in the constitution, but I am sure trump doesn't understand those words.
