There is a 0% chance Pat Burns can accurately define socialism.

Like, no shot.

Pat Burns is both a member of the Huntington Beach City Council and a walking, breathing, hairless ode to the inner wall of the human scrotum.

Additionally, he is one of those people who merges extreme confidence with extreme ignorance and stupidity. That’s not hyperbole. The next time Burns, the former mayor, utters something nuanced and/or insightful during a Council meeting, we all need to drink heavy doses of Mad Dog 20/20. Preferably the grape flavor.

Which leads to this dandy from a few nights ago …

Now, it’d be bad enough were Burns just wearing that shirt. But the fact he feels the need to:

A. Call out “socialism” and “communism”—without knowing the definitions and substances of either

B. Speak for the entire city of Huntington Beach.

Well … it’s just dizzying.

It’s also weird, because I have yet to hear Pat Burns utter a peep about Donald Trump (his lord and savior) promising $5,000 per American should the GOP win the midterms—which is, at its very core, a socialistic offering. And I also find it strange that a man so repulsed by communistic/socialistic societies keeps, on his desk, a bust of the president, as if Donald Trump were a Stalin or Putin.

Anyhow, Burns is up for re-election, and he seems pretty nervous. I don’t know if he’ll win or lose. His city is, traditionally, quite conservative. But I do know that he’s a racist, xenophobic, Weeble Wobbly piece of clay whose website looks to have been designed by a third grader.

Thug life.
