I was honored to serve with Cynthia on the Pride event committee. I consider her a friend and am lucky to do so. I was going to run for Trish's seat but after dealing with health issues following the stress of Pride, I decided to take a seat on that and put my health as a priority. I've listened to Conroy at the meetings and can barely contain my eyes from popping outta my head when it happens. I had to take a break from attending in person but often watch either from home or later in the week and simply can't understand how these people, other than Cynthia, can sit there and act like they are serving the public when they are so obviously serving their own egos. One day it will change. And I can't wait until these fake "Christian" men and women learn what it's like to have a successful city run by ethically and morally strong individuals who don't worship the false gawd named Trump.

Jeff, similar story happened in Laguna Niguel to Stephanie Oddo when she was cheated out of the Mayor role.

Same in San Clemente. They skipped Mark Enmeier for the nominally NPP MAGA Rick Loeffler.

The same thing happened to Ahmad Zhara in Fullerton, too. OC can do better than this.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, for describing the truly odious nature of the CABAL 4. It's difficult to sit through a city council meeting without wanting to gag. I hope residents of Mission Viejo will rally around Cynthia to ensure she is reelected in 2026.

Thank you for your excellent pick for hero of the year! I met Cynthia when I was knocking on doors for Joe Kerr and was thrilled to get out the vote for someone willing to stand up to the MAGA bullies. The Pride Event at the World Cup soccer field was one of the proudest and most inspirational experiences of my 3 decades of living in Mission Viejo. I greeted a 60ish lesbian couple who had tears in their eyes as they shared how they felt welcome in our city for the first time since they moved here decades ago. It was packed with local vendors, artists, and organizations celebrating diversity, love, and inclusion. Cynthia made this happen and pride for my community was the result. Shame on the rest of the city council for rejecting the request for hosting the next year's event, forcing the city to pay thousands of dollars to change the venue to Saddleback Colllege. So much for government waste, fraud, and abuse. All of the city council seats are on the ballot in November, so LFG and get some replacements lined up!!
