SOB - THIS IS a huge negative impact

Key Figures from the 2025 KFF Health Tracking Poll:

32% of all women: have been to a Planned Parenthood clinic for care.

39% of women under age 45: have visited a Planned Parenthood clinic.

Nearly half of Black women: (49%) have used Planned Parenthood services.

Over 40% of women with Medicaid: have received services at a Planned Parenthood clinic.

Black women: are disproportionately likely to use these services, with nearly half of them reporting having gone to Planned Parenthood for care.

You made an unfortunate error that needs clarification,…. “blocks federal Medicaid reimbursements to Planned Parenthood—not just for abortion,” Federal Medicaid funds have NEVER been used to pay for abortions here in California. The Hyde Amendment, first passed in 1976, prohibits the use of federal funds to pay for abortions except in very few cases. The federal Medicaid funding that Planned parenthood receives/has received has been for non-abortion healthcare.

I think the problem is planned parenthood only treats women. If they have out viagra it would immediately be fully funded.

Unfortunately, that’s what a lot of people think, but it’s not true. 1 in 4 Californians have accessed care at a PP health center. 90% are under the poverty line, 75% are people of color, 80% are under 35, 6% of all patients access abortion care while the remaining 94% visit for essential services.
