Taryn says " It is about fighting and standing for democracy, and the rule of law, and what is right. And while I can’t do it on a national level I can do it here."
In my opinion, the ONLY way to fight for what's right is at the local level. I have great admiration for her jumping into thie HB race, as well as for anyone who does grassroots organizing. That is how we we save democracy and live up to the "American ideals" we want to preserve.
Taryn would be such a great representative on the council. I REALLY hope she wins (and think she will)
Here is a link kids story about the Huntington Beach city council. https://youtube.com/shorts/pPKrPdsnkHk?si=Irr6VQH4UowsIbQ9
