The most important thing we older folks can do, as Democrats, to involve young people, is to pay attention to their concerns, and be willing to modify our viewpoint.
We met Connor when he was going door-to-door for his candidacy to the Centralia School Board more than a decade ago. Even back then we saw in him a great promise of someone who wants to do good for the people.
What ever you local paper is, the should be picking your articles up I hope your paper gives this guy some ink. I am guessing there were no reporters at the I HOP. .
