Yeah, I see what you're saying. It's kind of like when people make fun of someone for their appearance. I find that immature and not useful to the discussion EVER. BUT, this is a pattern of inappropriate behavior from our city council member, and enough is enough!
Let's not forget:
**Twinging hanging his own campaign signs on the same fencing he was yelling about
**Twining at the pier when the Patriot Front invaded a memorial and chanted white supremest slogans, with BT n to leaving (but fibbing about it later)
**and then Twining suing an elected official for $25 million for her posts about Twining's said involvement on the pier. Again, video caught him! He lost.
**Twining caught on video putting up his campaign signs before the legal time, and said he was just 'prepping' them. Caught on video fibbing.
**caught on video pontificating as a public speaker/campaigner about how he had 'too much common sense': then vaping shortly after that IN CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS that meeting. All caught on video.
**Caught yelling at audience from the dais and calling them names. Caught on video.
Sure makes people wonder what he's while doing not on video....
AND he's HB mayor pro team, which means we are stuck with him as mayor in December?
November can't come fast enough!
And tho he's not on the ballot, we can sure try to get the other four out of there, and restore sanity. It's our only hope.
I am not condoning the behavior, but after years of MAGA-fueled frustration, it's understandable how childish taunts can happen. Now it's time to be smart. Think long-term, my friends. Every action we take can either strengthen or undermine our campaign for change. Let's choose the path that advances our cause.
