Thank you for saying EXACTLY what I am feeling. I would only add the bended knees of the Six Sick Supremes.

The most disgusting and sickening part? His deranged supporters say this is exactly what they voted for. The evil that started within him is creeping across our nation, unfettered and even celebrated.

Here’s the game plan:

First, vote YES on CA Prop 50.

Later, donate what you can to Dem congressional candidates in the 2026 mid-terms.

Finally, support your Dem candidate for the 2028 presidential election.

This is so grim. I’ve been thinking the same thing! These MAGA are still the minority and one would believe that the majority will somehow overturn this tyrannical government.

You are stating what the rest of us are feeling. This is not America, this is hell on earth for immigrants and American citizens

At the very least, go to No Kings protest on October 18. We must not fall into a spiral of silence.

Thank you for using your voice to sound the alarm. Here are some things people can do in OC. Protests on Saturday - Santa Ana 2-5 centennial park Laguna hills 10-12 corner of El Toro and Paseo de Valencia Dana Point 12-2 corner of PCH and Selva. Drive by and honk if you don’t want to hold a sign. Call (202) 225-4111 and tell Young Kim to go back to work and release the files. Knock on doors with a group on https://www.mobilize.us/ wear a paper clip on your collar like the Norwegians did in WWII Take action!

You have once again perfectly articulated exactly how I feel. Where is the outrage? Instead, we have people debating whether this Nazi bastard is worthy of the Nobel Prize? We are in Alice in Wonderland territory.

I can understand how this is happening: 61.3% of registered voters didn't vote. Even allowing for the gerrymandering & disenfranchised voters, we still didn't have enough voters vote for common sense. We had too many white women vote for a man accused by more than a dozen women of sexual assault.

People. Need. To. Fucking. Vote.

As I understand it, the woman in the black car which was hit and who was attacked and carted away by ICE was a US citizen who works for a law firm. As I understand it, she was released. Assuming this is the case, I hope she sues the pants off these bastards.

I'm unsure, not scared. I refuse to be frightened because fear stops people from acting and THAT is what is needed. We need huge protests everywhere as often as we can. Eight and one-half months into Boy Genius' term, we are NOT okay. But we are seeing some unsteadiness in SOME GOP/MAGA politicians. While some of these folks are resigning because they don't want to be part of this anymore (they need to stay in office and fight their own party in reality), the remainder are too scared to resist the increasingly fascistic behavior evidenced by the current administration. We are headed to take the house in 2026. That's going to get quite messy as I fully expect to see soldiers at polling places in states w/o mail in voting, attempts to intimidate voters and stop voting, attempt to eliminate mail-in and early voting (something the GOP here in OC pushed for years and years). Do I think Trump will stop the 2026 or 2028 elections? No. He may try, but we will not succeed.

Look at the top of this page. The Truth OC: Because it's time to fight back. THAT doesn't express confusion, being lost, scared or terrified. It expresses putting on your boots and getting in the streets and fighting back. Stick with your instincts to fight back!

These are discouraging times. But we cannot give up hope, especially not now. We must pass Proposition 50 and we must win the mid-terms. There are volunteer activities galore right now, so no one should be "sitting on the sidelines." I especially recommend knocking on doors to Get Out of the Vote on Proposition 50. It's work, sure, but it's not difficult, and canvassing can make the difference in a close election. Alexei Navalny, whose courageous, non-violent struggle for democracy continues to inspire me, said: “I’ve got something very obvious to tell you. You’re not allowed to give up." Damn straight.
