No, it's a positive day for America. I live here in Virginia and yesterday for the first time in our 400-plus year history we elected a female governor. The fact we were able to flip it to blue makes it even more significant.
So much to celebrate. For me, the best part was the turnout in CA where only one issue was on the ballot--one that many thought too obscure, too much inside baseball to get the public's attention. That was so encouraging!
There's new energy building and last night was a glimpse of where that can take us. Like Jeff said, there's a LONG way to go so... If you want to build on this momentum, please find a group that's right for you (if you haven't already) and GET INVOLVED. Try 50501, your local Indivisible group, Working Families, NAACP, etc, etc. We can do this!!!!
I went to sleep ever so happy last night. So proud of all those voters, across the country, who chose to peacefully demonstrate at No Kings and then acted to take back our democracy. Peace and love to all.
I've sorta given up on politics as a means for hope. I believe ordinary people with extraordinary ideas are already doing more for the world than our politicians ever will. I've been actively pursuing hope as an antidote to despair for friends and family since 2020. Since I turned MSM off.
I just finished a 5-year project curating all the good news in the world (and Far Side cartoons). It's all tech, medical and energy breakthroughs that I believe will save us. In dark times, I hope it shines a light. Much love!
The 60 Minutes interview on Sunday left me feeling as if I was floating outside of my body….First time I have ever sat that long and voluntarily watched the horror show of 2025. Last night my heart leapt a little with a welcome and lost feeling … HOPE? Yes … and more please!
A great day for this California resident and his brother in New York.

Remember how it feels to win and don't stop, don't ever stop.
Hope is in the air!
Kudos to all my friends in California who worked so hard to make sure Prop 50 passed with a bang!
It's almost the complete opposite of how I felt this day last year.

America has had it with Trump.
Yes!!!! And god did we need it.
Amen and Hallelujah and the light of America still shines in the dark - and it's only gonna get brighter
YES! "Keep punching. Keep slugging. When you get down, find a way to get involved" and forward The Truth OC to everyone you know!
