If you’re wondering what it means, here’s a hint: Donald Trump is really panicking.

As we speak, the government shutdown has stretched into a month’s length, and one cannot find a single poll that blames the Democrats more than the White House. This is entirely on Trump’s lap. And the thing is, that makes perfect sense—because, following an initial session, Trump has refused to meet with the opposition party. At all. Ever. He blames and he whines and he threatens and he complains and he poops, but he never, ever, ever wants to be seen as cowering or soft. So, stubbornly, he stands pat.

Well, with SNAP benefits about to expire and folks and folks and more folks about to go hungry, shit is about to hit the fan. Do I think Donald Trump actually cares about feeding the hungry? Ha. No. But does he care about his image and how he looks in the world? Desperately.

So watch him flail, watch him moan, watch him lie about what’s going down.

But the dude’s numbers are falling apart.
