Steven, if you're reading this, please reach out to me. I'm running for a local city council and we have a great little group of us connected thru Canyon Dems. I'll tell you more if we get in touch. I'm anonymous here for very specific reasons. Jeff will vouch for me, tho. We can hopefully help with your social media and outreach, too 😁

Impressive candidate; I hope he catches some good attention as a result of this interview. He should hook up and canvas with Chris Kluwe.

Great minds think alike!! I am supporting Steven and Chris with canvassing in Aliso Viejo and we set up a volunteer team to knock doors for both of them. We started last weekend and it is off to a great start - volunteers can sign up to help at: luma.com/avu

Please reshare!

Seemingly implying aligned with the same political beliefs, Chris being a strongly recommended DSA candidate. Good to be aware of these alliances. Thanks for making us all aware.

As a longtime Aliso Viejo resident, I so appreciate this post. It's a shame I don't live in the district he is running for. I was aware of some of what you shared, but not all. Staying on top on city-level politics is not an easy task. Let's just say that my eyes are wide open now.

Even if you aren't in Steven's district, there are 2 other districts up for election this year and more ways to support. If you can volunteer to support Steven help spread the word and sign up at: luma.com/avu

Absolutely agree with the bit about hoping he has a good social media game, but I hope he also knows that in community races like his, canvassing is critical. I’ve seen candidates lose to less-qualified opponents because they didn’t understand the importance of knocking on doors and ringing doorbells. Ground game makes or breaks a campaign in all races, but particularly local ones.

Agree 100%. I am supporting Steven with team of volunteers knocking on doors and we held our first canvass for Steven and Chris Kluwe (running for State Assembly District 72) last weekend. It is off to a great start. We will need all the support we can get to flip this seat, so please reach out and share this if you can - volunteers can sign up to help at: luma.com/avu

I'm volunteering for Steven and Chris Kluwe (running to represent Aliso Viejo, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, and other cities in the State Assembly) to get a team of volunteers together to knock doors and call voters to flip this council. We held our first community canvass last weekend and are off to a great start, but we need all the support we can get to flip Steven's District! If you can, please spread the word or sign up at luma.com/avu

Wishing you amazing good luck! Not living there, I didn't realize Aliso Viejo had gone MAGA. So sad! Hope most people there are open-minded and haven't been drinking the kool-aid!

Hear, hear!

Hope I'm not throwing any shade here, but if a morally deficient, 6 times bankrupt, 34 times convicted felon who was also a political novice can rise to the presidency, I believe this man can make a fine city councilman. He has my endorsement.

It's refreshing to see a new face, not a politician, who cares for the community and the people. Don't know how much we can move the needle on the national level, but there's a lot we can do to make a stand locally. We need to eradicate MAGA from our local politics. There is no place for them in a sane community. I'll be donating to his campaign and hope others here will do so as well.

There are terrific south OC groups that I follow on IG even though I live in Orange— going to their meetings or when they have rallies seems like it would really help get the word out. Jeff, not to put this all on you but since you’re in touch with him and you have your finger on the South OC pulse, could you give him the names of these groups?
