Keep up the great work Jeff. And keep using the word Fuck when it concerns tRump. FUCK tRump. FUCK his family. FUCk his friends, all 3 of them. FUCk his Cabinet. And most of all, FUCK the blithering idiots that voted for him.
It is hard not to be afraid when the Trump-Musk-MAGA administration poses such profound dangers not only to us as individuals, but to our friends and fellow humans world-wide, and to our planet. The fears are rational.
Courage can be defined as resisting despite our very legitimate fear of the consequences.
What drives me crazy is hearing Republican congressional representatives excused for not standing up for the Constitution, because “they are afraid.” I say “f*** their fear! We are ALL afraid!” At the grassroots level we have at LEAST as much to be afraid of as they do. Buncha cowards. 😤😠
Jeff, I'm a mom and a grandma and I understand your own mother's fears for your safety. I'd like to tell her that her brave son is telling it like it is so that his kids and future grandkids won't have to grow up in the clutches of a cruel, despotic regime. Sure, I show up at protests and make calls to our lily livered congressional leaders, but the impact of my efforts is a fraction of Jeff's. He calls out the corrupt, self-serving, often deranged actions of our elected leaders in language that communicates the anger and urgency of this moment....anger that we all feel but hesitate to express openly. Tell your mom that your posts ignite the fury and determination we need to get out there and fight. I surely need it! And mom, please don't be afraid. Be proud!
I’ll never forget looking into the eyes of Pat Burns and Chad Williams during the last city council meeting and telling them they’re fascists and “don’t tread on me, don’t tread on my children”
I was one of those who did it in the 60s. There was the Civil Rights conflict and then my husband was drafted to Vietnam. I understand what it takes to fight back. But I’m too old now. I do what I can on social media, but I’m not sure my kids or grandkids grasp the seriousness of what’s happening — or have the commitment to stop it.
Jeff, we need you and everybody else that is upset with what trump is doing to our country to SPEAK UP. Do whatever you can. We cannot let this unhinged clown to continue to undermine the American people.
I agree. It's time for all good people to speak up, without fear. Republican lawmakers are the worst cowards in the world - in this moment they are cowering and submitting and it's pitiful and damaging.
That felt like the perfect wake up call! A bit of a slap on my face that I needed. Right on! Fight on! Thanks for telling us about mom. I understand her and I don’t want to fall in that direction.
Stand up, speak truth, look them in the eye and call out the lie. Every time
We all need to live in the spirit of Navalny!

Keep it up. Our best tool in this fight is ridicule of those who want us to fear them.

Is there a site I can message you on privately? You seem to have a hacked Messenger account. Shammy Dee

Just keep fighting.
Stand up. Speak out. Even if you’re scared. Especially if you’re scared. There is too much on the line.
Ditto.
Thank you for the important work you are doing. I am grateful for your columns; they help me feel more courageous.

I’m with you Jeff! When laws are unjust, it becomes
a moral obligation to resist them. I’m never gonna stop Resisting!
