Be sure to let us know if she responds. Your questions could be asked of so many of my own good Republican friends (I’m a No Party Preference).

I understand there is going to be some people that are all in. But how does someone like this continue to think that this is ok and watch people avoid them? I don't think maga will ever come back to reality. It's their way or no way. I left the party once he was elected in 2016 and still not feeling the need to join a party. I really want that middle area to be the norm.

I get your point, and I love your humor, but Ronald Reagan was a fascist in a cardigan. I don't think he cared about the homeless since he let people out of state institutions to wander the streets. He declared ketchup a vegetable for school lunches, let people die of aids, spread, homophobia, used dog whistles like "welfare queens", and I could go on and on. If people think that that was "normal or traditional republicanism", they are right, because it was always just as racist and bankrupt without the overt Trump crudeness.

And the biggest one making Ronald Reagan roll over in his grave is our military on their knees rolling out the red carpet for the Russian war criminal. Unforgivable.

I suspect the answer is “religion.” There is a reason why atheists, agnostics and “nones” are such a fast-growing sector of the electorate. That reason is, I suspect, blind faith.

I am not against religion, but if God gave is a brain we owe it to Them to use it. The religious right does not appreciate that particular gift of God.

I ask these questions of every MAGA because I just don't get it...and I never will. I think at this point, they are so committed, they can't physically remove themselves from that belief.

There were 3 hosts when the podcast started. One had to leave because he did have a job and didn't have the time. Thomas Zimmer who is one of the hosts is from Germany. He taught at Georgetown for 15 years. e left the country and I assume he went back to Germany. In his last news letter he said the podcast would continue. . There are only 44 podcasts so far There are some gaps when they didn't do one. The last one I listened to was about critical race theory. That was quite interesting. He says before every episode. The show is about how much democracy and for who.

He is on Blue Sky. But he hasn't posted much on there lately either. I like recommending things to read or listen to, whether it is politics, or sports or something else that I find interesting. You might want to check out https://armoxon.substack.com/ I guess you could say it is political. He had 13 or 14 part series of essays called Sabotage. Those were interesting. He is a fan of Lost. He writes about that as well. Also Nolan Hamilton. His substack is How Things Work. Jeff had him on his podcast. It As is not his normal guest. As you probably now Jeff is a sports writer or he was. Now he writes books about sports. He interviews a lot of writers mostly in the sports world, But sometimes has someone on like Hamilton
