Laguna Woods was rocking today. Streets lined with people of all ages. We live in Laguna Beach so thought we would venture to lend our voices in a more red zone and we’re so impressed. Everyone was happy and standing up for our democracy. The OC sheriff had 2 motos, 1 unmarked car, and a regular cruiser looping the route. I would like to think they were present in case some deranged MAGA tried to cause trouble.
I appreciate you spotlighting the smaller rallies. I planned to join the larger rally at Selva and Coast Highway in Dana Point, but ended going to the overpass on El Camino Real and San Dimas in San Clemente. It was great, to see the pedestrian bridge packed with people facing the freeway - both North and South. The organizers of this event are amazing. Music, signs and good will are all provided. This rally happens every Saturday afternoon from 12:00 to 1:30. As the organizer shared, "it must provoke some interesting conversations as travelers head to their destination. Well done San Clemente! Smaller but still impactful!
Whittier showed up! Boomers like me. Youngsters, teens, families. It rocked. So many creative signs. Some of my favs: "No orange monarchs except--photo of monarch butterfly." Another: "No kings, no jesters, no child molesters." and, "No faux king--no way."
The first and second No Kings, I stood on PCH at Selva and the crowd had been amazing both times. Today I stood in Aliso Viejo where the crowd was a bit smaller but the spirit was matched, IMO. I'm consistently pleased with the comaraderie, the smiles, the compliments for a sign or a shirt or a hat... I hate what this administration is doing to the country, but I absolutely love standing shoulder to shoulder to fight to get it back ✊️
Every one of these events count. True Patriots out in the streets! We saw very few middle fingers or thumbs down today - maybe 5 in 2.5 hours. Lots and lots of honking and cheering. 📣
I can’t be certain, but the one in Dana Point seemed bigger and brighter than the previous NK I attended there. Support from vehicles passing by was electrifying and seeing far more men in attendance this time was encouraging.
Went to both the Sunset Beach and the Seal Beach events. Great crowds at both and the Seal Beach event was even larger than before. Only had a few birds flipped from the usual big trucks and we actually had a "Coal Roller" driveby at the Sunset Beach event (search that on YouTube). After that we drove down Ocean Blvd in Long Beach where there thousands of people from Redondo Avenue all the way past Cherry Street.

Thank you for warning about signing petitions to put measures on the ballot.
So I signed this .. what is drawback . Ack ! I thought it was just a way to get the measure on ballot !
Agree 100% with your advice about the petitions!
